What the site does

It compares answers with high-level rules for ECO4, the Warm Homes: Local Grant and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, then links to the official route.

For country-specific programmes outside those verified rules, it provides an official referral instead of reproducing amounts and thresholds that may change.

Factual scheme and savings claims use GOV.UK, Ofgem or Energy Saving Trust.

Clear boundary

A result is not eligibility, funding, an installer assignment, a survey or an installation.

What changed after this audit

  • Unsupported £30,000 personal-award and fixed-savings claims were removed.
  • ECO4 is described as an energy-supplier obligation, not a guaranteed free grant.
  • The checker no longer claims an installer will contact a household.
  • City pages no longer publish unverified local statistics or council offers.
  • Review and savings emails are disabled until a verified installation event exists.
